Croatia is a stunning European destination, an underestimated beach lover’s paradise, and a history buff’s utopia. With more than one thousand islands, Croatia has miles and miles of gorgeous coastlines, comparable to its more popular and equally beautiful neighbor, Greece. The most popular coastal city is that of Dubrovnik; a historical gem, with its 16th century old city surrounded by massive walls that kept the old city in a pristine condition. The place has such a medieval feel to it, that it was a filming location for the insanely popular HBO series Game of Thrones!
